Tryg recognises a one-off impact of DKK 1.2bn pre-tax related to Supreme Court ruling on Danish workers’ compensation

Today, the Danish Supreme Court ruled on a precedent-setting case regarding workers’ compensation in Denmark, which affects the entire insurance industry as well as the State and municipalities in Denmark. Tryg will recognise a one-off impact of DKK 1.2bn pre-tax related to historical cases. In combination with capital management actions, the net solvency impact is around 4 percentage points.
